These large and very striking green lentils turn green once cooked. They are a perfect slow-cooker ingredient, and ideal for stews, broths and casseroles.

1. Rinse before use.
2. Use 3 cups of liquid (water, stock, etc) to 1 cup of dry lentils
3. Bring to a boil, cover tightly, reduce heat and simmer until they are tender. For green lentils cooking time is typically 20-30 minutes.
